What we stand for
Official data, never invented
Every price comes from a named official source — the European Commission Weekly Oil Bulletin, the U.S. EIA and AAA, Statistics Canada, and national government feeds. Where data is a national average rather than station-level, we say so. We never fabricate a number to fill a gap.
One place for the whole picture
Prices, two-year trends, tax breakdowns, an interactive road-trip cost planner, gas-station and EV-charging maps, an EV-vs-petrol savings model, and side-by-side market comparison — all under one roof, so a driver never needs five tabs.
Clarity over clutter
A price should answer a question in three seconds: what is it, is it cheap or expensive, and what does it cost me. Clean typography, honest labels, currency and unit conversions everywhere, and a confidence level on every dataset.
Open by default
A free JSON API and embeddable widgets, no key required, so publishers, developers and AI systems can build on the same numbers we show. Attribution is all we ask.
Coverage today
FuelWide covers the United States (all 50 states plus DC), Canada, 42 European countries — the 27 EU members, the UK, and non-EU nations from Norway and Switzerland to the Balkans — and 23 Asian countries, from Japan, South Korea and China to India, the Gulf states and Türkiye. Petrol, diesel and LPG where reported, with live station and EV-charging maps that work anywhere in the world. We're expanding coverage and adding station-level live pricing market by market.
