FuelWide is a global fuel-price intelligence platform. We take fuel data — scattered across dozens of agencies, bulletins, open-data portals and spreadsheets — and turn it into one fast, honest, beautifully clear place to understand what fuel costs, why, and what it means for your trip, your car and your budget.
What we stand for
Named sources, never invented
Every price comes from a named source that we publish alongside it, with its date and its cadence — the European Commission Weekly Oil Bulletin, the U.S. EIA and AAA, Statistics Canada and national forecourt feeds where governments publish them, named commercial and aggregated providers elsewhere. Where a figure is a national average rather than a station measurement, we say so on the page. We never fabricate a number to fill a gap, and we never round a secondary source up to "official".
One place for the whole picture
Prices, two-year trends, tax breakdowns, an interactive road-trip cost planner, gas-station and EV-charging maps, an EV-vs-petrol savings model, and side-by-side market comparison — all under one roof, so a driver never needs five tabs.
Clarity over clutter
A price should answer a question in three seconds: what is it, is it cheap or expensive, and what does it cost me. Clean typography, honest labels, currency and unit conversions everywhere, and a confidence level on every dataset.
Open by default
A free JSON API and embeddable widgets, no key required, so publishers, developers and AI systems can build on the same numbers we show. Attribution is all we ask.
Coverage
FuelWide covers 111 countries across six continents — 42 in Europe, plus 30 in Asia, 19 in Africa, 15 in Latin America, 5 in Oceania — together with all 51 US states and DC, 467 US metro areas and 18 Canadian cities. Petrol, diesel and LPG where reported.
In total that is 113 markets (111 countries plus the USA and Canada) and 45,982 station prices from national reporting feeds in 6 countries, plus 886 Bulgarian stations priced at their chain's national list price. Station prices are refreshed daily. Everywhere else the figure is a national average, labelled as one. We add forecourt-level markets as their data becomes available under terms we can honour.
39 of our 111 markets come from official government, regulator or open-data publications; the remaining 72 come from named commercial and aggregated sources. Every page states which one it is using.

Responsible for this data: Teodor Karagiozov, founder and editor. He built FuelWide and maintains its data pipeline, source registry and methodology, and answers corrections himself.
- Tell us the page, the figure and what you believe is wrong — a link to your source helps.
- We check it against the original publisher's data and our own calculation, and reply to you.
- If we were wrong, we fix the figure and add a dated correction note to the page. We do not silently change published numbers.
- If the upstream publisher was wrong, we say so on the page and link to their correction once it exists.
